For more than 15 years Bjoern has led a scientific research team dedicated to finding novel data analysis techniques and applying them to real-world data. Bjoern looks back on more than 20 years’ experience in this area. In his role as CEO of GT Diagnostics he leads the team towards the development of novel diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of dementia.
He hopes that GT Diagnostic’s tools will be able to complement future treatments for Alzheimer’s disease by robustly identifying cognitive and functional decline at the earliest stage possible.

Linda received her diploma in Physics as well as her PhD at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where she developed a keen interest in data analysis with various applications in the Life Sciences, including projects with stroke and Parkinson’s Disease patients. During her postdoctoral work at the University of Aberdeen, Linda focussed on data science applications in dementia while working with mathematical models, mouse model data and human data.
As Head of Operations, she leads the development of all GTD product lines, oversees the quality management system, and supports the CEO in designing the business strategy.

Sonya is a qualified Consultant Anaesthetist. She studied medicine at Sydney University in Australia and completed her fellowship training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. Sonya worked continuously as an Anaesthetist from 1991 until 2017, when she changed career goals to work in clinical research, subsequently joining TauRx in October 2018.
Since 2023, as Chief Medical Officer, Sonya provides medical expertise to the development of GT Diagnostics’ products. She works closely with the whole team giving input to research and development, including risk assessments. Furthermore, Sonya assists in the marketing and disseminating of the GT Diagnostics’ products.

Jin has been working as researcher for GT Diagnostics since August 2019. He completed his PhD on potential electroencephalography (EEG) biomarkers for individuals at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
At GT Diagnostics, Jin has been working on research and development of SigNeXx. He is also our main contact for Asia, working with a variety of partners in the region.
Jin is our authorised representative for GDPMD Malaysia.

Siyan is involved in the research related to GT Diagnostics’ products and testing various use cases for PsyCoXx product. His background is in Pharmacology, Neuroscience and most recently Data Science, he hopes to aid in the research and development of dementia detecting products.
Having completed his GT Diagnostics funded PhD in Physics, in 2024, Siyan works as a researcher in statistical modelling, computer adaptive testing and multidimensional item response theory. In addition, his interests include causal inference and timeseries analysis.

Kah Yan has been working as a psychologist with GT Diagnostic since May 2023. She holds an MSc in Foundation in Clinical Neuropsychology and over eight years of experience in neuropsychology research in older adults.
She is involved in providing a Malaysian perspective and psychological insights to the development of the assessment tools. Her goal is to bridge the cultural gaps in neuropsychological research and practice, ensuring the assessments are culturally appropriate.

Jennice joined GT Diagnostics in 2023 as a technical writer, where she helps create documentation for the company’s products and processes. She is involved in writing Quality Management System (QMS) documents and process flows.
In addition, she has expanded her role to assist as an internal auditor, contributing to the company’s ongoing commitment to quality.
Originally graduating as an environmental scientist, Jennice discovered her passion for technical writing and now focuses on supporting the backend operations.

Cameron Beedie joined GT Diagnostics in August 2023 as a Data Scientist Intern during his Master’s placement, where he focused his thesis on developing classification models for dementia. His research primarily leveraged scoring outputs from the PsyCoXx product.
After completing his MSci degree in Pharmacology at the University of Aberdeen, Cameron transitioned into a full-time Researcher role at GT Diagnostics. He now focuses on product-related research and investigates practical applications for GT Diagnostics’ technologies.
